We are dedicated to cultivating disciples who are committed to serving others and serving God.

We believe that every individual has the potential to impact their world for the Kingdom of God—whether in their home, workplace, government, business, healthcare, education, or church.

By embracing our vision to transform the world as disciples of Christ, we empower people to live out their God-given purpose with integrity, faith, and a heart for service.

We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word, given through human authors under the Holy Spirit's guidance. It is infallible truth and completely relevant to our lives today.

    (Deuteronomy 4:1-2; Psalms 119:11, 89, 105; Proverbs 30:5; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 22:29; John 5:39; 16:13-15; 17:17; Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 1:1-2; 4:12; 1 Peter 1:25; 2 Peter 3:16)

    T H E  T R I N I T Y
The Trinity is the eternal God existing as one essence in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, sharing the same divine nature and authority.

    (1 John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11)

    T H E  F A T H E R
God is sovereign, all-powerful, and unchanging. He is worthy of our trust and worship, being both holy and loving. He is our Father, compassionate and faithful.

    (Exodus 3:14; Numbers 23:19; Leviticus 11:44-45; Psalm 11:4-6; Malachi 3:6; John 3:16; 4:24; Acts 17:28; Romans 3:3-4)

    T H E  S O N
Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully human. Conceived by the Holy Spirit, He lived a sinless life and was crucified for our redemption. His resurrection ensures our hope and eternal life.

    (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-23; John 1:1, 14; Acts 1:9; Romans 1:3-4; 1 Corinthians 15:21-22)

    T H E  H O L Y S P I R I T
The Holy Spirit assures us of our relationship with Christ, guides us into truth, convicts us of sin, and empowers us with spiritual gifts.

    (Genesis 1:2; Psalms 51:11; John 15:26; Acts 1:5, 8; Romans 8:9-11; Galatians 5:22-23)

    T H E C H U R C H
The Church is a community of believers committed to Christ’s teachings, unified in faith, and dedicated to spreading the Gospel. We work together in love and unity for God’s glory.

    (Matthew 16:18-19; Acts 2:41-47; Ephesians 1:22-23; 3:10-12; Colossians 1:18)

    M A N
Humans are created in God's image and are the pinnacle of His creation. Though separated from God by sin, every person possesses inherent dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

    (Genesis 1:26-30; Psalms 8:3-6; Romans 3:10-18; 1 Corinthians 15:21-22)

    R E P E N T A N C E
Repentance involves turning away from sin and embracing a new life in Christ. It is essential for receiving forgiveness and salvation.

    (Acts 2:38; Romans 5:12-21)

    S A L V A T I O N
Salvation is a gift from God, achieved through faith in Jesus Christ’s sacrifice. It cannot be earned but is received by grace through faith.

    (Isaiah 53:5-6; John 3:16; Acts 16:30-31; Ephesians 2:8-10)

    P R A Y E R

Prayer is our direct communication with God. It is vital for our relationship with Him and for the success of our mission.

    (Psalms 145:18; Matthew 7:11; Philippians 4:6; 1 Thessalonians 5:17)

    B A P T I S M
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward faith. We practice full-immersion baptism as a symbol of identifying with Christ’s death and resurrection.

    (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38)

    C O M M U N I O N
Communion is a sacred practice where believers remember Christ’s sacrifice through the elements of bread and juice, symbolizing His body and blood.

    (Matthew 26:26-28; 1 Corinthians 11:23-25)

     F I V E - F O L D M I N I S T R Y
The five-fold ministry gifts—apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers—equip the Church for its mission. God has called some men and women to these roles. We still believe these still operate today.

    (Ephesians 4:8-13; 1 Corinthians 12:4-30)

    S E C O N D C O M I N G
Jesus will return to establish His kingdom on earth. We live in anticipation of His coming.

    (Matthew 24:30; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17)

    E T E R N I T Y
Humanity is destined for eternal existence, either in union with God in Heaven or separated from Him in Hell.

Lead Pastors.

Jordan and Jamaica Vailima

In May 2021, we were entrusted by the founding Pastors Awhina & Sene Vailima to lead Hills NZ, alongside our son. We are passionate about the local church and are dedicated to making disciples of Christ to transform the world. We see Hills NZ as a welcoming place for people from all backgrounds to encounter Christ, meeting them where they are and inspiring them to choose a life with Him. We believe we are a local church with a global footprint, and we are expectant to see God lead us to places no one else has been.
